Candle Care Tips
-
NEVER try to extinguish a candle flame with water.
-
When burning for the first time, please ensure your candle reaches a full melt pool to all edges of the jar. This allows for a clean and even burn each time the candle is lit.
-
Try to burn your candle for 2-3 hours straight when lighting for the first time.
-
Always trim the wick 1/4 inch before each time lighting the candle to reduce soot and smoke.
-
Do not burn candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Burning for longer than 4 hours can make the jar too hot.
-
Burn candle in a clear ventilated area far away from curtains, windows, and drafts.
-
Do not leave a burning candle unattended and keep out of reach of children and pets.
-
Do not place candle on a wax warmer.
-
Discontinue use when 1/2 inch of wax remains.
Car Freshener Care Tips
-
Freshies are made to last 4 weeks. However, certain scents are stronger than others and can last for up to two months.
-
For the strongest scent throw, please use within one month of purchase. When not using, ensure that the smell-proof bag is completely sealed and out of the heat.
-
Keep out of reach of children and pets, can be toxic if consumed.
-
Can be hung on car rearview mirrors, lockers, closets, bathrooms, or any small space desired.
-
Do not lay on a flat surface as oils may stain surfaces.
-
Although rare, there is a possibility of the freshie melting/deforming in extreme heat. Keep out of extreme heat for extended periods if possible, and do not trap in between the windshield and sun visor.
-
Due to the nature of handmade products, slight imperfections or variations may occur.
-
Kas's Candles is not responsible for the replacement of freshie due to improper care.
-
You may become used to the scent within a couple of weeks!
